MEP Building Services Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking a Building Services Engineer on behalf of one of Irelands leading consultancies. This consultancy have delivered thousands of projects in a variety of countries. This position is based in Dublin City.   

The company in question work on mechanical, electrical & sustainability projects among others. This role is ideal for an engineer with solid design experience in MEP services installations, particularly in the healthcare, education, residential and commercial sectors.
  
Salary

€50,000 - €55,000 + package on offer.

The Role

As part of the design team, you will:

• Design and specify HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems for a variety of building projects.
• Lead with a design-focused approach, ensuring solutions meet the highest technical and aesthetic standards.
• Incorporate sustainability and energy efficiency into every stage of the design process.
• Manage the design, installation, and commissioning of M&E systems from concept to completion.
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements, providing clear, professional, and tailored advice.
• Apply environmentally conscious technologies and solutions to minimise project impact.
• Anticipate potential risks and provide practical, proactive solutions.
• Contribute to a positive team culture, supporting colleagues and upholding the company’s values.

About You

• Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in building services design within construction projects (ideally 2+ years). 
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant design software.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
