Mechanical Site Manager

ProSource Group are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the mechanical services installation and delivery on residential construction projects across Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all on-site mechanical activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Projects may include apartment developments, high-density residential schemes, housing developments, and mixed-use residential buildings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical building services, with proven experience managing subcontractors, coordinating with other trades, and delivering mechanical installations from first fix through to commissioning and handover.

€70k - €80k + Vehicle

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all mechanical services installation works on site.
• Coordinate mechanical activities with electrical contractors, main contractors, and other building services trades.
• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure accurate installation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, design team, and client representatives.
• Monitor daily progress and ensure works are delivered in line with the construction programme.
• Identify and resolve site issues, technical queries, and installation clashes before they affect programme or quality.
• Manage labour, subcontractors, materials, plant, and equipment on site.
• Ensure installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, relevant Irish regulations, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate builders' work requirements, penetrations, risers, plantrooms, and service routes.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, Mechanical Supervisor, or Senior Mechanical Engineer on building services projects.
• Previous experience delivering residential construction projects, ideally apartment developments or large-scale housing schemes.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services installations.
• Experience working on large-scale residential or high-density apartment developments in Dublin.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades on active construction sites.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Good understanding of Irish construction health and safety requirements.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet programme deadlines.
• Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.
