Company Intro / Summary A leading Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex engineering projects across Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. Responsibilities - Manage the commercial aspects of mechanical packages from tender stage through to final account.
- Prepare valuations, variations, interim and final accounts.
- Assist with procurement and contract administration for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Track project costs and cash flow, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cost control and value engineering.
- Provide regular cost reporting and financial updates to senior management.
Requirements - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in a Mechanical QS role, ideally within a building services or M&E contracting environment.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience working on complex projects.
- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
