A leading Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex engineering projects across Ireland is seeking a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of mechanical packages from tender stage through to final account.
  • Prepare valuations, variations, interim and final accounts.
  • Assist with procurement and contract administration for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Track project costs and cash flow, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure cost control and value engineering.
  • Provide regular cost reporting and financial updates to senior management.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a Mechanical QS role, ideally within a building services or M&E contracting environment.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and construction methodologies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience working on complex projects.
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
