ProSource Group are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer on behalf of one of Irelands leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Sustainability Consultancies.

Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for an engineer with solid design experience in mechanical services installations, particularly in the
healthcare, education, and commercial sectors.
€50,000 - €60,000 + package on offer.
Your main duties will include, but not be limited to: - Create detailed mechanical design plans, drawings, and specifications, adhering to local building codes and industry standards.
- Focus on designing energy-efficient HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems to minimise environmental impact and operational costs.
- Apply your technical expertise to select and size mechanical equipment and components, ensuring they meet performance and budget requirements.
- Assist in project management by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring designs meet client expectations.
- Stay up to date with Irish building regulations and industry codes, and ensure designs are compliant with all relevant guidelines.
- Review and approve mechanical designs to ensure accuracy, functionality, and safety.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert guidance on mechanical design aspects.
Key Requirements - Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the design of mechanical building services.
- Experience using Revit BIM software in a building services environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport.
