M&E Quantity Surveyor

A well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Limerick. This role will be project-focused, offering the opportunity to work on large-scale building services projects across a variety of sectors. Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial aspects of assigned M&E projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for mechanical and electrical packages.
• Oversee procurement processes and manage subcontractor accounts.
• Monitor project costs, valuations, and variations, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and scope.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and financial obligations.
• Provide commercial support throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a QS role, ideally with M&E or building services projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and related contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.

Package

• Salary: €65,000 – €70,000 per annum (DOE).
• Full-time, permanent position based in Limerick.
