Management Accountant - North Dublin

Our client is looking to grow their CFO Services team providing outsourced finance, accounting and advisory support to a diverse portfolio of businesses.

They are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join the team and work closely with clients across a range of sectors.

This is a varied role suited to an experienced practice or industry accountant who enjoys working with multiple businesses and wants exposure to management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Cash-flow forecasting and working capital analysis.
• Preparation of financial information and MI for clients and senior management.
• Providing commercial insights and identifying trends within client businesses.
• Supporting clients with financial planning and decision-making.
• Assisting with year-end accounts and audit processes.
• Working with clients to improve financial reporting processes and controls.
• Supporting the CFO Services team with ad hoc financial and commercial projects.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted finance partner.
• Working across multiple client businesses, sectors and accounting systems.

Requirements

• Qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in practice, industry or an outsourced/CFO services environment.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems.
• Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
