Lead Architect – Galway

A well-established architectural practice based in Galway is seeking an experienced Lead Architect to join and help drive a diverse portfolio of projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated architect looking to take a leadership role within a collaborative and growing firm.
The successful candidate will lead projects across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, mixed-use, and other design-led developments, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage architectural projects across multiple sectors
• Oversee project delivery from planning and design through to construction
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior team members
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high design standard
• Contribute to business development and client relationships where required

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with relevant professional registration
• Minimum 8+ years’ post-qualification experience preferred
• Strong design, technical, and project management skills
• Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
• Proficiency in industry-standard software
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
