A well-established project and cost management consultancy is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team based in Dublin 4. This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor with approximately one year of industry experience to develop their career alongside experienced professionals. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects while receiving ongoing mentorship and support within a collaborative consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the commercial management of construction projects from inception through to completion.
• Support the preparation of cost plans, valuations, and financial reports.
• Assist with procurement and management of subcontractor packages.
• Prepare and assess variations and assist with final accounts.
• Work closely with senior quantity surveyors and project managers across multiple projects.
• Attend client and project meetings where required.
• Monitor project costs and assist with financial forecasting.
• Ensure commercial documentation is maintained accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1 year of experience within the Irish construction industry.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a consultancy environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a commercial team.
• Full working rights in Ireland.
Package
• Salary: €50,000 DOE.
