Company Intro / Summary A well-established and growing main contractor is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in North Dublin. The company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential projects and continues to secure repeat business across the Greater Dublin area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Junior QS looking to gain hands-on experience across live residential sites while working closely with senior commercial staff in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities - Assist in the preparation of cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Support the commercial management of residential projects from commencement through to final account.
- Measure and value works completed on site.
- Assist with subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management.
- Prepare and review interim valuations and variations.
- Monitor project costs and report on commercial performance.
- Liaise with site teams to ensure accurate cost control and reporting.
Requirements - Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years’ experience in a QS role or relevant placement experience.
- Exposure to residential construction projects is desirable.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
- Eager to develop and progress within a contractor environment.
Package - €45,000 – €50,000 DOE.
- Full-time, permanent position based in North Dublin.
