Junior Quantity Surveyor

A leading building contractor with a strong reputation is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Midlands. This role will involve working on a high-profile development within the industrial/technology sector, offering excellent exposure to fast-paced, technically demanding projects. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and tender documentation.
• Support procurement activities including subcontractor and supplier engagement.
• Help monitor costs, valuations, and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Carry out site measurements and assist with progress reporting.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Ensure accurate cost reporting and compliance with company procedures.
• Gain hands-on experience across all stages of the project while developing professionally.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience in a QS role (residential, commercial, or civils experience all welcomed).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop within a leading main contractor.

Package

• €45,000 - €50,000 DOE
