Junior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established project and cost management consultancy based in Dublin is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The consultancy delivers a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, data centres, and public works, providing excellent early-career exposure to multiple sectors.

In addition to Irish projects, there are opportunities to gain experience working on projects across Europe, making this an ideal role for a driven QS looking to broaden their experience within a professional consultancy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost planning, estimates, and budget management across multiple projects.
• Support the preparation of tender documentation, valuations, and final accounts.
• Assist with procurement of contractors and consultants.
• Monitor project costs and support financial reporting.
• Attend design team and client meetings alongside senior QS staff.
• Carry out site visits to monitor progress and cost control where required.
• Support senior Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers across a varied project portfolio.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
• 1–2 years’ post-graduate experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role.
• Consultancy or client-side experience beneficial but not essential.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress professionally.

Package

• €40,000 – €50,000 DOE
