Junior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established Project and Cost Management Consultancy is seeking a motivated Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Cork. The company delivers high-quality services across the commercial, residential, industrial, and public sectors, working with a diverse range of clients throughout Ireland. Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation for various projects.
• Support senior quantity surveyors in managing pre- and post-contract cost management duties.
• Carry out measurements and valuations, and assist in preparing interim and final accounts.
• Contribute to procurement processes and tender evaluations.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and design teams throughout all project stages.
• Maintain accurate cost reporting and project documentation.
• Develop technical and commercial skills under the guidance of senior staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years’ post-graduate experience in a QS role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cost management software.
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to progress in a structured consultancy setting.

Package

• Salary: €50,000 – €60,000 DOE.
