Junior Quantity Surveyor

A well-established residential developer is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team working across projects in Dublin. The company currently has a number of residential developments underway, with further projects already lined up to commence as current works progress, ensuring a steady and reliable pipeline of work.
With a strong focus on self-delivery across many aspects of their developments, the business maintains a consistently busy project environment. This provides an excellent opportunity for a Junior QS to gain valuable hands-on experience across residential projects while working within a supportive commercial team.
  
Responsibilities

• Assist in the commercial management of residential construction projects across Dublin.
• Support the preparation of budgets, cost reports, and valuations.
• Assist with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs and contribute to financial reporting.
• Assist in managing variations, subcontractor accounts, and project documentation.
• Work closely with site teams to ensure accurate cost control.
• Support senior commercial staff with day-to-day project management tasks.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a QS role or relevant placement experience.
• Previous exposure to residential construction projects would be advantageous.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Motivated individual eager to develop their career within a developer environment.

Package

• €45,000 – €55,000 DOE.
• Full-time, permanent position based across projects in Dublin.
• Strong pipeline of residential developments with further work scheduled.
