Company Intro / Summary A well-respected Main Building Contractor is looking to appoint a
Junior Quantity Surveyor to its commercial team in Dublin. Known for delivering projects across the residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors, this company provides an excellent training ground for QS professionals early in their careers. Responsibilities - Assist with the preparation of tender and contract documentation.
- Support senior QS staff in the measurement, valuation, and cost control of construction works.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and assist in procurement activities.
- Help monitor project budgets and track variations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Attend site meetings and contribute to cost updates and progress reporting.
- Work closely with project managers and site teams to support commercial delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
Requirements - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally with a main contractor.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with relevant software (e.g., Excel, Buildsoft, or similar).
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a dynamic construction environment.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
Package - €45,000 - €50,000 DOE.
