Tier One Main Contractor is seeking a motivated
Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial team in
Dublin. The company is delivering a diverse range of
residential and commercial projects across the city and has built an excellent reputation for quality, safety, and innovation. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious QS early in their career to work on high-profile developments while being supported by a structured training and mentorship programme.
Responsibilities - Assist the commercial team in managing project budgets, cost plans, and procurement activities.
- Support senior QS staff with valuations, variations, and financial reporting.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and prepare comparisons.
- Prepare take-offs, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
- Assist with monthly cost reports, progress claims, and payment applications.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and design teams to support project delivery.
- Contribute to cost control and value engineering exercises.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures while maintaining accurate project records.
Requirements - Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally within a main contracting environment.
- Exposure to residential or commercial construction projects is desirable.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn within a fast-paced, structured environment.
Package - Salary: €45,000 – €55,000 DOE.
