Junior Project Manager - Main Contractor - Cork

ProSource are seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Project Manager on behalf of a reputable Main Contractor in Cork. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing large-scale building projects, while working alongside experienced Project Managers. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with the delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate daily activities with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
• Support in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation and reporting.
• Identify and resolve potential issues to keep projects on track.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years’ experience in construction project management or site management (placement or graduate experience considered).
• Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software (experience with MS Project an advantage).
• Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress within the construction industry.
