Junior Health and Safety Officer

Introduction:
Seeking a motivated Junior Health and Safety Officer to join our team in Dublin. As a Junior Health and Safety Officer with our organization, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of health and safety standards.
The Junior Health and Safety Officer will assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, specifically focusing on construction practices. This role involves supporting senior safety personnel, conducting site inspections, and contributing to the development and implementation of safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Support senior safety officers in implementing health and safety procedures on construction sites in Dublin.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for site personnel.
• Collaborate with project teams to promote a culture of safety and risk awareness.
• Conduct investigations into incidents and near misses, providing recommendations for preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety-related documentation and reports.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly within the construction industry.
• 1+ years of experience.
• Relevant qualification or certification in health and safety. NEBOSH, IOSH
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to identify potential safety risks.

Package:

• Salary of €35k - €45k DOE
