A leading construction and civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Tyrone. Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of residential projects from tender stage through to final account.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and procurement documentation.
• Lead subcontractor procurement and manage valuations, variations, and payments.
• Monitor project costs and cash flow, providing accurate reporting to senior management.
• Liaise closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure financial control and project delivery.
• Identify value engineering opportunities and implement cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a QS role, ideally with a residential project focus.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing multiple projects.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
• Effective communicator with strong organisational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QS software tools.
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous professional development.

Package

• Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE.
• Full-time, permanent position based in Tyrone.
