Co. Laois is seeking an
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The company delivers a broad range of civils projects including groundworks, infrastructure, and enabling works, with a strong and consistent pipeline of work secured.
This role would suit a QS with solid contracting experience who is comfortable managing projects day-to-day and is looking for a stable, long-term position within a growing civils business.
Responsibilities - Provide commercial management across live civils projects.
- Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports, variations, and final accounts.
- Assist with subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management.
- Monitor costs and maintain strong commercial control throughout project delivery.
- Liaise closely with site teams, engineers, and contracts management.
- Support contractual correspondence and commercial reporting.
- Ensure accurate record keeping in line with company procedures.
Requirements - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- 4–6 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within a civil engineering contractor.
- Strong understanding of cost reporting, valuations, and subcontractor management.
- Experience across civils, groundworks, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider commercial team.
Package - €60,000 – €70,000 DOE
