Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer

ProSource Group is partnering with one of Ireland’s top Mechanical, Electrical & Sustainability consultancies to recruit an Intermediate Mechanical Building Services Engineer for their Dublin office.

What You’ll Do

• Produce detailed designs, drawings, and technical specifications for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Prioritise energy efficiency and sustainable solutions to reduce environmental impact and running costs.
• Select and size mechanical equipment and components to achieve performance, safety, and cost targets.
• Support project delivery by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing design schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Irish building regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Review and validate designs to guarantee accuracy, functionality, and safety.
• Engage with clients directly, providing technical guidance and solutions tailored to their requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical building services design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and IES within a building services setting.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Full driving licence and access to own transport.
• Working toward Chartered Engineer status (EI or CIBSE).
