Intermediate Electrical Engineer

ProSource Group are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of one of Irelands leading multidisciplinary consultancies. This is a Dublin-based position.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across the pharmaceutical, industrial, and commercial sectors. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic team player with experience in electrical building services design.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed design calculations for:
  
  • Power distribution
  • Lighting and emergency lighting
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Security and access control
  • Data and general services
  • Mechanical power and control systems
• Prepare schematic and layout drawings using AutoCAD (2D) and/or Revit (3D).
• Create schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications.
• Assist in cost estimation and preparation of technical reports.
• Conduct site surveys and support project delivery from initial concept through to handover.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Assist with the preparation of contract documentation and new business proposals as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree qualification (Level 7 or 8) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical building services design (Ideally 3+ years with an Irish consultancy). 
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant design software.
• Ability to take direction from senior staff and work collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
