Intermediate Electrical Engineer

ProSource are recruiting an Intermediate Electrical Engineer position on behalf of a leading M&E contractor who are continuing to grow with an extensive amount of ongoing projects in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and engineering guidance to the project delivery team.
• Oversee the implementation of MV and LV infrastructure designs, working closely with specialist vendors to ensure full compliance before construction begins.
• Develop and maintain system functional descriptions, progressing documentation from initial design intent through to final implementation.
• Produce handover, commissioning, and test packs for Electrical and Instrumentation systems, including defining system boundaries.
• Review and respond to technical queries from site regarding drawings, specifications, materials, and equipment, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in QA/QC inspections, quality meetings, and system walkdowns to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Support the commissioning process by verifying system readiness and signing off commissioning activities where required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in an electrical engineering or commissioning role.
• Strong understanding of MV electrical systems and associated vendor equipment.
• Good knowledge of control systems and industrial automation principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Amtech, and other relevant engineering software.
