Intermediate Electrical Building Engineer

ProSource Group is working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit a motivated Intermediate Electrical Building Services Engineer for their growing Dublin team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a technically capable, team-focused engineer to contribute to the design and delivery of high-profile projects across the pharmaceutical, industrial, and commercial sectors.

Duties

• Carry out detailed design calculations for:
  
  • Power distribution
  • Lighting & emergency lighting
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Security & access control
  • Data & general services
  • Mechanical power & control systems
• Produce schematic and layout drawings in AutoCAD (2D) and Revit (3D).
• Prepare schedules, datasheets, and technical specifications.
• Support project cost estimation and assist in drafting technical reports.
• Undertake site surveys and contribute to project delivery from concept to handover.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Assist with contract documentation and contribute to business proposals when required.

Requirements

• Degree (Level 7/8) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in electrical building services design (ideally within an Irish consultancy).
• Strong proficiency in Revit (essential), AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and take direction from senior staff.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
