Intermedate Quantity Surveyor

Company Intro / Summary
A market-leading contractor operating across telecoms, utilities and critical infrastructure is seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their Dublin-based commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress within a highly reputable organisation known for delivering major national frameworks and long-term programmes of work.
While telecoms experience is preferred, candidates coming from any contracting background—civils, utilities, mechanical, electrical, or general construction—will be fully considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the commercial management of multiple ongoing projects nationwide.
• Prepare valuations, cost reports, variations and support final account closure.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiation and agreement of packages.
• Provide accurate cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Support tendering, pricing exercises and commercial analysis where required.
• Contribute to improving commercial processes and systems across the team.

Requirements

• 2–4 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Telecoms/Utilities experience beneficial, but all contracting backgrounds welcomed.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with standard QS software and Microsoft Office.

Package

• €45,000 – €55,000 DOE
