Insurance Broker - Personal & Commercial Lines

My client is a well-established Insurance Brokerage based in Co. Longford, providing tailored insurance solutions to both personal and commercial clients. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and client-focused Insurance Broker to join our team.

This opportunity would suit either:
✅ An experienced, CIP Qualified Insurance Professional
or
✅ A motivated trainee looking to build a long-term career in the insurance industry while working towards their CIP qualification.

For trainees, the role can offer flexibility such as a 4-day working week with 1 dedicated study day to support professional development. ��

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of personal and commercial insurance clients
• Advising clients on suitable insurance products and coverage options
• Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, admin and new business quotations
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Liaising with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and premiums
• Ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are adhered to
• Providing excellent customer service and claims support where required
• Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and business development

Requirements For Experienced Candidates:

• CIP Qualified (or working towards completion)
• Previous experience within an insurance brokerage environment
• Strong knowledge of personal and/or commercial lines insurance
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills

For Trainee Candidates:

• Strong interest in pursuing a career in insurance
• Willingness to study towards the CIP qualification
• Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
• Organised, motivated, and eager to learn

Salary will commensurate with experience.
