HVAC Services Engineer

ProSource Group are working with a leading contractor that specialises in the installation and maintenance of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems and consistently deliver on large-scale complex projects for world class customers. Due to their continued growth thy are seeking a HVAC Services Engineer for the midlands region

Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering input during project planning, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Perform site inspections to ensure installation quality and compliance.
• Review and approve technical submittals and shop drawings.Design HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air handling solutions to Irish and EU standards.
• Prepare drawings, technical specifications, schematics, and equipment schedules.
• Conduct load calculations using industry software (e.g., Hevacomp, IES, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Evaluate energy-efficient technologies and propose sustainable solutions.
• Diagnose HVAC system faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Carry out or supervise scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Optimise system performance, energy usage, and occupant comfort.
• Maintain accurate service reports, commissioning documents, and asset records.

Requirements:

• Degree or higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in HVAC design, installation, or maintenance.
• Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and industry codes.
• Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Hevacomp).
• Full clean Irish driving licence (for site-based roles).
