Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety procedures in line with industry standards and legislative requirements, specifically road construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols within the road construction sector.
Provide expert guidance and support to project teams, ensuring a culture of safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to address safety concerns and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for preventive actions.
Keep abreast of changes in health and safety legislation related to roadworks, updating policies and procedures accordingly.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Health and Safety.
Proven experience (1.5+ years) in a Health and Safety Advisor role.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
