HR Manager

Overview
An established engineering contractor based in Tipperary is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join its senior management team. This is a key leadership role with overall responsibility for the HR function, supporting both strategic and operational objectives across the business.
The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping people strategy, supporting growth, and ensuring best-in-class HR practices across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the HR department, setting strategy and overseeing all HR operations.
• Act as a key member of the senior management team, contributing to wider business decisions.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practice initiatives.
• Oversee employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and relevant EU regulations.
• Advise senior leadership on organisational development and people strategy.
• Support international or overseas workforce matters where required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within construction, engineering, or a similar project-led environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience operating at senior management level.
• Exposure to EU or overseas HR environments is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on.

Package

• €55,000 - €65,000 DOE.
