Health & Safety Officer

ProSource are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor on behalf of their client to join their award winning construction team in Limerick.

You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety on their exciting construction projects. 

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Implement, maintain, and monitor the company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and communicate necessary actions to the project team.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and ensure that corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Deliver Health & Safety training and inductions for staff, subcontractors, and site visitors.
• Collaborate with the site management team to promote a positive safety culture.
• Ensure all Health & Safety documentation is accurate and up to date.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of current Irish Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
