Health & Safety Officer

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist contractor for an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their team on a Data Centre project based in Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor delivering major projects while ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on site.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all site activities comply with company and statutory health & safety regulations.
• Prepare, review, and update Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports with recommended improvements.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety briefings for employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health & safety documentation.

  
Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Officer, preferably within the construction industry and with a main contractor.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates required.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification desirable.
