Health & Safety Advisor

ProSource are recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor position on behalf of a leading building contractor who are continuing to grow with a strong pipeline of ongoing projects across Europe.

This role is based on a major project in Belgium and offers an excellent package including flights, accommodation, and living away allowance.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Report on the safety performance of project teams and subcontractors, making recommendations to ensure safe working conditions in line with Belgian and EU regulations
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
• Support the effective delivery of defined HSE processes, procedures, standards, and systems
• Monitor and review site performance through weekly inspections and audits, including assessment of all Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Assist and participate in the promotion of health-related risks and training on site
• Ensure full implementation of the Company’s Accident Reporting Procedure
• Ensure that changes in Belgian legislation, EU directives, and safety management practices are communicated and implemented across the project and supply chain
• Maintain relevant quality and environmental control procedures in accordance with the Company’s Integrated Management System

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Degree/Diploma in a related discipline
• 3–5 years’ related work experience
• Experience working on international or European construction projects (desirable)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Strong communication skills (English essential; additional European languages advantageous)
