Health & Safety Advisor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading civil engineering contractor, working on major infrastructure projects in the Kildare region.

This role would suit someone with around 3 years’ experience in a H&S position who is looking to take the next step in their career, with strong mentorship and progression opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of health & safety policies and procedures on active projects.
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits, reporting findings and recommending improvements.
• Assist in preparing risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation.
• Work with site teams to promote a strong safety culture.
• Support incident investigations and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
• Stay informed on changes to relevant safety legislation and best practices.

Requirements: 

• 3 years’+ experience in a health & safety role within construction, civils, or utilities.
• NEBOSH / IOSH qualification (or working towards).
• Good knowledge of Irish health & safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well with multiple teams.
• Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
