Graduate Site Engineer

A growing civil engineering contractor is seeking a Graduate Site Engineer to join its project delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or junior engineer looking to gain hands-on experience across live civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

The role will provide strong exposure to site operations, engineering coordination, quality control, and setting out, working alongside experienced site teams and senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily site engineering activities across civil engineering projects.
• Assist with setting out, surveying, and quality checks on site.
• Work closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered to specification.
• Assist with site records, reporting, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Attend site meetings and support project coordination activities.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Open to recent graduates or candidates with up to 6 months’ site experience.
• Exposure to setting out (GPS/Total Station) would be an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within the civil engineering sector.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work as part of a site-based team in a fast-paced environment.
• Full Irish driving licence is essential.
