This is a hands-on role for a motivated Engineering Graduate who wants to develop as an Energy Engineer / Energy Assessor, working on projects that reduce carbon emissions and improve building performance.
Role Overview As a Graduate Energy Engineer, you will support the delivery of domestic and commercial energy assessments, surveys, and audits. You’ll assist senior engineers and project managers in evaluating existing buildings, preparing technical reports, and helping implement energy-efficient solutions in line with SEAI and building regulations.
Key Responsibilities - Support senior team members in conducting energy surveys and audits of buildings.
- Gather and analyse energy data, prepare reports, and assist with energy modelling.
- Contribute to project design and delivery, helping implement retrofit and energy-efficiency upgrades.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet high technical standards.
- Develop your skills through structured training and mentoring toward BER Assessor qualification.
Requirements - Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Environmental, or Energy Engineering (or similar).
- Strong interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Full, clean driver’s licence
