Graduate Civil Engineer - Cork

Our client are  seeking enthusiastic Civil Engineering graduates or undergraduates to join our Cork team, commencing in 2025. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of water and wastewater projects, gaining hands-on experience in the planning, design, and delivery of essential infrastructure.

The successful applicant will work under the guidance of a Chartered Engineer, performing a mix of field and office-based tasks, including:

• Surveying and site investigations.
• Drafting and preparing design drawings and technical documentation.
• Supporting the design and delivery of water and wastewater systems.
• Assisting with project management and coordination tasks.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across diverse water infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to build experience on a wide range of water sector projects, from municipal water supply to wastewater treatment, and to develop practical skills in engineering design, technical reporting, and project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil/Environmental/Water Engineering or related discipline
• Strong interest in water and wastewater engineering.
• Proficiency or familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software is desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
• Motivated, proactive, and willing to learn in a professional environment.
• Irish/UK experience is a plus but not essential.
