Foreman

ProSource are recruiting a Foreman on behalf of their client who are a leading construction firm specialising in high-quality construction projects in Galway.

Job Summary:

Skilled General Foreman to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in demonstrated leadership abilities and project management skills. The General Foreman will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
 Supervise carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and quality standards.
Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, project plans, and quality standards.
 Enforce safety protocols and ensure all workers adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
Maintain open communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and subcontractors, to ensure project goals are met.
Identify and resolve construction-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.


Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a strong understanding of construction techniques and materials.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Valid driver's license
