Foreman - Kildare

This role is on 2 major residential project in full swing within the Kildare and Meath region. It will suit an experienced civils foreman who can organise crews, keep the job moving and maintain high standards of safety and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct site crews, operatives and plant on daily activities.
• Deliver works including earthworks, drainage, structures, pavements and services.
• Plan daily and weekly activities with the engineers and site management.
• Make sure works are built to drawings, specification and line and level.
• Coordinate subcontractors, plant and materials on your section.
• Carry out toolbox talks and enforce Health & Safety standards and RAMS.
• Complete daily diaries, allocation sheets and permits.
• Mentor and develop operatives and chargehands.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a foreman in civil engineering.
• Strong heavy civils and residential experience (essential).
• Ability to read drawings and work closely with engineers.
• Valid Safe Pass and Site Supervisor Safety Programme (SSSP) or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Full Irish driving licence.
