Financial Planning Associate/ Paraplanner

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Experienced financial Planning Associate/Paraplanner to join the Financial Planning team. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning, this individual will play a key role in supporting advisers, delivering an exceptional client experience, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone looking to develop their career with a view to progressing into an Advisory or Financial Planning role over time.

The Role Working closely with the Head of Financial Planning and wider advisory team, you will provide comprehensive support across client servicing, financial planning administration, compliance, and relationship management.

You will act as a trusted support to the adviser team, helping to drive opportunities through to completion while maintaining exceptional standards of service and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Head of Financial Planning and Financial Advisor team.
• Prepare pre- and post-client meeting documentation including meeting packs, portfolio valuations and meeting summaries.
• Assist with sales support and client servicing activities for new and existing clients.
• Support advisers with client data gathering and progression of opportunities.
• Act as a secondary point of contact for clients, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure strong adherence to compliance procedures, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Maintain and update accurate client records on CRM systems.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients, providers and internal stakeholders.
• Support business retention and development through high-quality servicing standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiencies.

About You You will be a highly organised, detail-oriented financial services professional with strong client relationship skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements:

• 3 to 4 years’ experience in a Paraplanner or Financial Planning support role.
• QFA qualified (minimum) or equivalent qualification meeting Central Bank Minimum Competency Requirements.
• CFP qualification (or working towards same) desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial products in the Irish market.
• Experience supporting advisers within a Financial Planning firm, brokerage or financial services environment.
• Working knowledge of cashflow modelling software an advantage.
• Experience with Omni Broker (B.I.S.) CRM desirable.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to client service and continuous professional development.
