Our client, one of the largest independent accountancy and advisory firms in the South East, is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join their growing team.

Working closely with the Head of Financial Planning, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Financial Advisor team, delivering exceptional service to clients, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the financial planning function.

The Role As Financial Planning Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative and sales support to the Financial Planning team while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional requirements.

You will act as a key point of coordination between advisors, clients, and providers, helping to deliver a high-quality client experience and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and sales support to the Head of Financial Planning.
  • Deliver a high standard of service to both new and existing clients, ensuring an excellent client experience at every stage.
  • Support the Financial Planning team by responding to queries efficiently and proactively resolving issues.
  • Manage and maintain strong working relationships with clients, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and review pipeline activity, ensuring workflow processes are followed and key deadlines are met.
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of client documentation, applications, and supporting information.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all compliance procedures, regulatory guidelines, and internal controls.
  • Support the team in meeting company policies, professional obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with general office administration and support on projects throughout the year.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and contribute to ongoing efficiencies within the team.
About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • 4–5 years’ administration experience, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or a brokerage environment.
  • APA and/or QFA qualification, with experience in financial planning operations highly desirable.
  • Experience using Omni Broker (B.I.S.) Financial Planning CRM system would be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workloads and manage deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of compliance and regulatory procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and client-focused approach.
  • A willingness to learn, develop professionally, and contribute positively to the wider team.
