Financial Accountant - Tipperary

Financial Accountant – Clonmel | €55,000–€65,000 DOE

ProSource are recruiting for an exciting Financial Accountant opportunity in Clonmel with a well-established and highly regarded business operating within the hospitality sector.

This is a key position within the business, reporting directly to the Directors and taking ownership of the day-to-day financial operations.

The Role

You will be responsible for the overall finance function, including:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and annual audited accounts
• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Maintaining and developing robust financial systems and processes
• Managing and supervising existing finance and administrative staff
• Liaising directly with the Directors on financial matters
• Working closely with external auditors
• Overseeing the day-to-day accounting requirements of the business
• Providing financial insight and support to the Directors as required

The Person

I’m keen to speak with experienced Financial Accountants / Senior Accountants / Qualified Accountants who are looking for a role where they can take real ownership of a finance function and work closely with senior management.

You will ideally have:

• ACA / ACCA / CPA qualification, or be close to qualification
• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience
• Experience preparing management accounts and working with auditors
• Previous experience supervising or managing a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset
• The confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders

This is a hands-on, senior finance role offering the opportunity to take ownership of a broad finance function within an established Clonmel business.
