Finance Business Partner

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join a leading organisation in the infrastructure sector, based in Dublin.

This is a key position within the finance team, reporting directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, and will be responsible for driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and partnering with business leaders to support growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with internal financial controls and external regulatory requirements.
• Act as primary contact for statutory audit and internal audit.
• Oversee VAT preparation, review, and compliance with Irish VAT legislation.
• Manage monthly reconciliations, intercompany reporting, and group monthly/quarterly returns.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts in line with IFRS.
• Lead monthly financial reviews, challenging accuracy and mitigating financial risks.
• Drive continuous improvement and reporting efficiency through ERP (Oracle experience desirable).
• Manage cashflow forecasting to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and strategy.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Provide analysis of business performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, providing financial insight and strategic support.
• Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and support to senior leadership and project teams.

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with several years’ PQE.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle ERP highly desirable).
• Proven track record of delivering results and driving financial performance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Resilient, adaptable, and collaborative, with a growth mindset.
• Willingness to travel when required.
