A growing construction contractor is seeking an Estimator to join their team, with the position available in Limerick. The company has built a strong reputation delivering high-quality residential developments, while also maintaining a healthy portfolio of commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Obtain and assess quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and project cost plans.
• Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Work closely with operational teams to develop competitive bids.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Support senior management in tender reviews and commercial decision-making.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience within the construction industry.
• Previous estimating experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience within residential construction is highly desirable.
• Exposure to commercial or industrial projects would be beneficial.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Motivated individual looking to develop within a growing contractor.

Package

• €60,000 - €70,000 DOE
• Full-time, permanent position based in Limerick.
