About the role
We’re recruiting on behalf of our client, a modern and fast-growing energy services consultancy, for an Energy Engineer to join their team in Wicklow. Specialising in energy efficiency, carbon reduction and smart data analytics, they work with commercial clients across Ireland, the UK, and Europe to deliver real sustainability results.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out energy audits and assess on-site energy performance
• Analyse data using smart metering and IoT platforms to find savings and carbon reduction opportunities
• Support the development of energy efficiency strategies tailored to client needs
• Produce clear, client-facing reports focused on impact and return on investment
• Work closely with the engineering team and clients to deliver sustainable solutions
• Build strong relationships with clients and communicate findings in a clear, practical way

What we’re looking for

• Degree in energy, mechanical, or electrical engineering (or similar)
• 1–2 years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or building services (graduates with strong interpersonal and analytical skills will also be considered)
• Strong communication skills – confident engaging with clients and translating technical data
• A genuine interest in energy, decarbonisation and sustainability
• Full clean driving licence
• Willing to travel occasionally (Ireland, UK, and Europe)
