A well-established electrical contractor is seeking an Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Cork. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, providing excellent exposure across different sectors while developing specialist electrical commercial expertise within a supportive and professional environment.
  
Responsibilities
  • Manage the commercial aspects of electrical packages across multiple projects.
  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
  • Manage procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Prepare and assess interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial procedures.
  • Identify and manage commercial risks across projects.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a QS role, ideally within electrical or M&E contracting.
  • Strong understanding of electrical packages and associated costs.
  • Experience in contract administration and cost management.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ambitious and eager to progress within a specialist contractor environment.
Package
  • €60,000 – €75,000 DOE.
  • Full-time, permanent position based in Cork.
