Electrical Estimator

ProSource Group are recruiting an Electrical Estimator based in Dublin on behalf of a well renowned Mechanical & Electrical contractor who has a national presence.

€55,000 - €65,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Project Analysis: Thoroughly review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to understand the scope and requirements of electrical installations.
• Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to gather essential information, assess potential challenges, and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure accurate estimations.
• Cost Estimation: Utilize your expertise to provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects, considering labour, materials, equipment, and other relevant factors.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive and cohesive project bids. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed and organized documentation of the estimation process, ensuring transparency and clarity in communication both internally and externally.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical estimation within the construction sector.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations Ireland would be preferred.
