Company Intro / Summary My Client is seeking an experienced
Electrical Estimator to join their pre-construction. The company delivers complex electrical packages across
heavy industry and large-scale infrastructure projects and continues to grow due to a strong and consistent pipeline of work.
This role offers long-term stability, technically challenging projects, and the opportunity to work within a well-established estimating and commercial function.
Responsibilities - Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates and tender submissions.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate pricing.
- Price electrical packages for heavy industry and large-scale projects.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
- Identify commercial risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options at tender stage.
- Work closely with commercial, procurement, and delivery teams to support bid strategy.
- Support tender adjudications and assist with project handovers post-award.
Requirements - 5+ years’ experience working as an Electrical Estimator, ideally on the contractor side.
- Proven experience estimating heavy industry projects.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems and installation methodologies.
- Excellent commercial, numerical, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider estimating team.
- Living within travelling distance of Waterford, Cork, or Dublin.
Package - €65,000 – €75,000 DOE
- Higher salaries considered for exceptional candidates.
