Electrical Design Engineer - Dublin (City Centre)

ProSource Group are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer on behalf of a global Mechanical, Electrical, and Sustainability Consultancy.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Dublin office and play a key role in the delivery of cutting-edge design solutions for landmark projects in Ireland and internationally.
Working across a wide variety of sectors — including Government, Critical Systems, Healthcare, Workplace, and Residential — you will:

• Deliver innovative electrical design solutions that are technically excellent, sustainable, and commercially successful.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Work closely with high-profile clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
• Carry out design development, site inspections, and surveys.
• Develop your career with increasing responsibility, supported by CIBSE and IET accredited professional development programmes, and progress towards Chartership.

About You

We’re looking for an engineer who shares our passion for sustainability and creative design:

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent).
• Experience in building services consultancy (electrical distribution & power generation, lighting, security systems, etc.).
• Skilled in ProDesign (Amtech), with knowledge of Revit and Dialux an advantage.
• Proven ability to deliver low energy, sustainable design solutions.
• Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with a drive to mentor and support others.
