EHS Officer

ProSource Group are working with an international multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor and leading provider of high-value engineering services to a number of ‘blue chip’ companies. 10% Annual Bonus
€15,000 allowance

EHS Advisor Responsibilities:

• Evaluation and approval of Subcontractors EHS Documentation, Training Certification, RAMS, etc, prior to issue to Main Contractor, 
• Evaluation and approval of Subcontractors EHS Documentation, Training Certification, RAMS, etc, prior to issue to Main Contractor, 
• Preparation and issuing of Risk Assessments, Method Statements & Site-Specific Safety Statements in consultation with Site Foremen and Contracts Managers
• Carrying out Environmental Health & Safety inspections
• Completing EHS Training for Employees
• Investigation, recording and reporting of accidents and near misses promptly, ensuring that any corrective actions are implemented without delay
• Reviewing sub-contractors’ Safety Statements and Safety Compliance
• Attending regular site Health & Safety Meetings and daily EHS Briefings

Necessary requirement of the EHS Advisor: 

• 3+ Years’ Experience in similar industry.
• Diploma to NFQ 8 in Occupational H&S. Certificate to NFQ 6 Environmental Management.   
• Excellent communication skills, through presentations, reports, written and verbal.   
• Ability to work well within strict deadlines.   
• Ability to be able to prepare Audits and EHS reports, to a high standard.   
• Ability to lead and coordinate incident investigations and utilise root cause analysis.   
• IOSH Member or Equivalent.
