EHS Lead

ProSource is recruiting a EHS Lead for a leading M&E contractor experiencing continued growth and delivering multiple projects across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue comprehensive risk assessments, method statements, and site-specific safety statements in collaboration with Site Foremen, Project Managers, and Contracts Managers.
• Review and approve subcontractor EHS documentation, including RAMS, safety statements, training records, and other relevant compliance documentation prior to submission to the main contractor.
• Coordinate and deliver EHS training, toolbox talks, and site induction programmes for employees and site personnel.
• Attend site Health & Safety meetings and daily EHS briefings, providing guidance and support on safety-related matters.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented effectively.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections across active project sites, monitoring compliance with safety standards, procedures, and relevant requirements.

Requirements

• Level 7 qualification or higher in Environmental, Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant Health & Safety experience, preferably within a construction or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively with site and project teams.
