EHS Lead

ProSource are recruiting a Environmental Health and Safety Lead position on behalf of an industry-leading Main Building contractor who are experiencing continued growth due to a number of recent project awards in Dublin, and Nationwide.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Responsible for overseeing the Health & Safety department
• Provide Health and Safety advice onsite to all operatives
• Undertake and implement safety initiatives on sites
• Carry out investigations of HSE incidents
• Responsible for ISO 9001 and Safe T certification
• Undertake site inspections and audits in accordance with project audit plan
• Issue NCR’s where appropriate and track remedial actions
• Report on safety performance of project teams and subcontractors and make recommendations to ensure safe working conditions
• Carry out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
• Lead training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
• Gather data from project team members to produce monthly reports
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
• Carry out risk assessments, method statements and incident investigations
• Effective delivery of defined HSE processes, procedures, standards and systems

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Degree/Diploma in a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the construction industry
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Strong communication skills
