EHS Advisor

ProSource are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer position on behalf of a leading building contractor who are continuing to grow with a significant pipeline of ongoing projects across Ireland.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Report on the safety performance of project teams and subcontractors, making recommendations to promote and maintain safe working conditions
• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
• Support the effective delivery of defined HSE processes, procedures, standards, and systems
• Monitor and review site performance through weekly inspections and audits, including the assessment of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Assist in promoting awareness of health-related risks and delivering relevant training on site
• Ensure full implementation of the Company’s Accident Reporting Procedure
• Ensure changes in legislation and safety management practices are communicated and implemented across the Company and its Supply Chain
• Maintain relevant quality and environmental control procedures in line with the Company’s Integrated Management System

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Degree/Diploma in H&S level 7/8.
• Minimum 3 year of relevant Health & Safety experience.
• Experience working in a Civil Engineering/Construction environment
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Must have a full clean Irish Drivers license and willing to commute across North Dublin and City Center.
