EHS Advisor

ProSource Group are seeking Health and Safety Advisor on behalf of a civils contractor, leading contractor delivering a large public realm civils project in the city center/North Dublin area for 2 years. 

You’ll work closely with site teams, project managers, and subcontractors to drive a strong safety culture and ensure legal and regulatory compliance is met across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the company’s EHS management systems on live construction sites.
• Conduct regular site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Provide EHS inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to site staff and subcontractors.
• Support the project team in accident/incident investigations and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Irish legislation and industry best practice.
• Maintain site safety records, documentation, and reporting to senior EHS and project leadership.
• Liaise with external agencies, clients, and safety consultants where required.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and proactive hazard identification.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within the engineering/construction.
• Strong knowledge of Irish EHS legislation, regulations, and standards.
• Experience working on civil ground work projects preferably trnasport and public realm infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills
• Ability to influence and engage teams at all levels with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Valid Manual Handling certification.
• Membership of IOSH, NISO or similar (preferred).
