Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health & safety procedures across projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety reviews
  • Support project teams in maintaining compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards
  • Promote a strong safety culture and drive best practice across all site activities
  • Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action plans
  • Review RAMS, safety documentation, and site-specific risk controls
  • Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives on all safety-related matters
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ongoing support to site teams
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role within construction or civil engineering.
  • Strong understanding of Irish health & safety legislation and site compliance requirements.
  • Must have either a relevant degree or qualification (e.g. NEBOSH).
  • Proven ability to work independently and carry out site audits and inspections.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Full Irish driving licence and willingness to travel across Meath/Dublin and Southern parts of Louth.
