This position is site-based and will play a key role in ensuring that all project records and documentation are properly organised, updated, and circulated in line with company protocols and client requirements.
The role requires someone highly organised, with an eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure in a busy construction environment. You will be the link between project teams, subcontractors, and clients, making sure documentation flows smoothly and accurately throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Main Responsibilities - Manage, log, and distribute all project documentation using the company’s document management systems.
- Ensure drawings, reports, and registers are issued, received, and stored correctly according to project standards.
- Track revisions and maintain up-to-date records, ensuring any changes are clearly highlighted and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide project teams with accurate document registers and ensure easy access to current information.
- Act as a point of contact with subcontractors, design consultants, and clients for document-related queries.
- Support compliance by monitoring that document control procedures are consistently followed across the project team.
Requirements - Prior experience in a Document Control role within construction, engineering, or a related industry.
- Strong IT skills, ideally with knowledge of EDMS platforms such as Aconex, Viewpoint, or similar systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing records.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Previous experience in residential projects.
