ProSource Group are working with a largescale contractor who are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director to lead their sales initiatives across Ireland & Europe. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen the companies position within the Mechanical Construction industry.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and execute the European sales strategy in alignment with the companies global business objectives.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across multiple European markets.
  • Lead and motivate the regional sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets and client acquisition goals.
  • Client & Partner Management
  • Act as a key point of contact for senior clients, ensuring strong long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate and close complex, high-value contracts in the data center construction sector.
  • Market Development & Intelligence
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and contribute to regional expansion initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor activity, regulatory changes, and DSO/TSO developments to anticipate market shifts.
  • Provide regular reporting, sales forecasts, and insight-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and delivery teams to align technical and commercial solutions with client requirements.
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives to strengthen visibility in key markets.
  • Represent company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to promote brand visibility and partnership opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in sales and business development, ideally within the data centre, mission-critical, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and redundancy systems.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with a focus on long-term partnership building.
  • Ability to manage complex deal lifecycles from opportunity through execution.
  • Strategic thinker with the capacity to identify new markets and drive expansion.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with flexibility to travel across Europe as required.
