Data Centre Shift Operations - Mechanical AP

We’re partnering with a leading energy services provider operating and maintaining mission-critical power infrastructure for large enterprise and hyperscale clients. Due to continued growth, they’re expanding their Shift Operations teams and are hiring Electrical and Mechanical Authorised Persons to support a live data-centre power generation environment.
  
This is a site-based, hands-on role where safety, uptime and process matter. You’ll join a structured shift team responsible for keeping critical plant operating 24/7.
  
The role

• Shift operations within a live, mission-critical environment
• Monitoring systems, responding to alarms and logging events
• Working to established SOPs, permits and LOTO procedures
• SCADA monitoring and escalation to internal teams and client stakeholders
• Carrying out inspections and ensuring safe systems of work
• Oversight of contractors during planned and reactive works
• 12-hour shift pattern (rota under review and being optimised)

  
Backgrounds that fit

• Electrical or Mechanical Authorised Persons
• Experience in data centres, pharma, power generation, utilities or heavy industrial environments
• Strong trade qualification essential
• Engineering qualification beneficial but not required
• Comfortable working in highly structured, safety-critical operations
