Corporate Finance & Advisory Manager - North Dublin

Our Client is an established and growing accountancy practice in North Dublin is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join its advisory team.

This is a broad and commercially focused role, working with business owners, shareholders and management teams on a range of corporate finance, restructuring, financial analysis and strategic advisory assignments.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical capability and the confidence to get beneath the numbers — assessing financial performance, identifying key drivers, testing assumptions and helping clients understand their options.

Practice experience is not essential. The business is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Restructuring, Insolvency, Banking, FP&A, Commercial Finance or other analytical finance environments.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support corporate restructuring and business advisory assignments, working closely with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Undertake detailed reviews and deep-dive analysis of financial statements, management accounts and business performance.
• Develop and assess financial models, forecasts and sensitivity analysis to understand potential outcomes under different scenarios.
• Identify key financial and operational drivers, risks, trends and opportunities within businesses.
• Prepare detailed financial analysis and commercially focused reports for clients, management teams and other stakeholders.
• Assist with business planning, cash-flow forecasting and financial viability assessments.
• Support clients through periods of restructuring, turnaround, growth, acquisition or strategic change.
• Assess the financial implications of different strategic and restructuring options and clearly communicate findings.
• Assist with due diligence, business reviews, valuations and other corporate finance projects where required.
• Work directly with business owners and senior management, developing strong and trusted client relationships.
• Prepare high-quality presentations, reports and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are achieved.
• Support and mentor more junior members of the team as the practice continues to grow.

The successful candidate will be a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience & Skills

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred, although relevant corporate finance experience will also be considered.
• Strong experience analysing financial statements and business performance.
• Proven ability to build and interpret financial models, forecasts and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience with corporate restructuring, turnaround, refinancing or business advisory would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of cash flow, profitability, working capital and financial drivers.
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Ability to take complex financial information and turn it into clear, commercially relevant insights.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to deal directly with business owners, directors and senior stakeholders.
• Commercially curious, detail-oriented and comfortable challenging assumptions.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative advisory team.
